8 Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare supper for me, and dress properly,and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’?

Again, the fitting answer here is, of course, this is what will happen. The slave, when done working, will start working again when he comes home to serve his master with food and drink.

That was to be expected in those days of a slave.
