Your sermon must encourage God’s people to treat each other as family and let go of critical attitudes. Explain why critical attitudes are always a temptation and how we ought to respond when we see someone doing something sinful. Help Christians with examples of what gentle correction can look like and the importance of self-reflection before saying something to someone else. Make it clear that this kind of behaviour is in keeping with the pattern that Christ demonstrated and the life for which he has set us free, for which he has redeemed us.
