What is known about Jebus?

Judges 19:10 (ESV)

10 But the man would not spend the night. He rose up and departed and arrived opposite Jebus (that is, Jerusalem). He had with him a couple of saddled donkeys, and his concubine was with him.

The mention of Jebus, also known as Jerusalem, ten kilometres north of Benjamin, calls to mind Israel’s failed attempt to conquer the land, noted in Judges 1:8, Judges 1:21. At this point it is in the hand of the Canaanites. If Israel had conquered it, the Levite may have spent the night there.
