The fact that Saul is said to be praying suggests that it is safe for Ananias to go to him. Saul is clearly reflecting on who he saw and what he heard. He knows that he has had an encounter with the resurrected Christ and that his life belongs to Jesus.
11 And the Lord said to him, “Rise and go to the street called Straight, and at the house of Judas look for a man of Tarsus named Saul, for behold, he is praying,
