  • Acts 9:1–43 contains a revelation of Jesus Christ to Saul. We learn that Christ is now in heaven, that he is glorious, sovereign over all that happens and concerned for his church. The concern of Christ for his church is seen not only in the conversion of Saul and the sending of Ananias, but most clearly in the work which Jesus Christ came to do for his church. He lived the perfect life so that he could die the penalty that sins deserve in the place of sinners.
