Why does the Spirit tell Peter that men are looking for him; can he not hear them calling?
Acts 10:19 (ESV)
19And while Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are looking for you.
It is possible that Peter heard the shouting. The Holy Spirit speaks to him to make sure he goes down to welcome the men and to make it clear that these men need to be received and heard.
