The actions of Peter recall the actions of Jesus when he raised the daughter of Jairus from the dead (Mark 5:40). As an apostle of Jesus Christ, Peter acts and behaves in the same manner as his Lord, making it clear that the power to heal comes from Jesus and not from Peter.1
40 But Peter put them all outside, and knelt down and prayed; and turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.
