The gathering of God’s people is prophesied in a number of Old Testament passages (Deuteronomy 30:4; Isaiah 27:12–13; Isaiah 60:4; Jeremiah 32:37; Ezekiel 34:13; Zechariah 2:6–7). The four winds (Daniel 7:2; Zechariah 2:6) refer to the four compass points of the earth. From one end of the world to another, all those who belong to Jesus Christ will be gather to him. Christians are the chosen remnant to be gathered (2 Thessalonians 2:1).1
31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
