Elihu reminds Job that not every cry for help comes out of a believing heart. There are many oppressed people who cry out in a haphazard way, without seeking God their Maker. They do not believe in the God who brings songs in the night,
unexpected help in the most difficult circumstances.
10 But none says, ‘Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,
