What is the significance of the number 10,000?

Judges 4:14 (ESV)

14 And Deborah said to Barak, “Up! For this is the day in which the LORD has given Sisera into your hand. Does not the LORD go out before you?” So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with 10,000 men following him.

Ten is the number of totality, and so it appears that the number 10,000 here represents the total power of the Lord. 10,000 is also a myriad, and in the Bible is frequently found in relation to the hosts of God (Daniel 7:10; Hebrews 12:22; Jude 1:14; Revelation 5:11).1
