What is significant about the people keeping the various feasts?

Ezra 3:5 (ESV)

5 and after that the regular burnt offerings, the offerings at the new moon and at all the appointed feasts of the LORD, and the offerings of everyone who made a freewill offering to the LORD.

After the altar was once again ready to be used, the people of Israel continued to offer all the sacrifices that God’s Word required of them. They also held all the feasts that God expected from them. This is meant to emphasize to us that the people are worshipping God by bringing all the sacrifices to God that he has demanded from them. It shows their dedication to God and their desire to obey God.
