What does Ezra 5-6 reveal about what God the Holy Spirit does in and through me?
God the Holy Spirit fills me with joy. Joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22) and it is God’s will that those who belong to him should have their joy complete (1 John 1:4). By making me joyful about God’s work to rescue me, the Holy Spirit also helps me to keep trusting God today, even if my circumstances are difficult. He increases my faith in God and helps me to obey God.
