Karnaim was a town located over halfway from Samaria to Damascus. The name itself means double horned.
Both Lo-debar and Karnaim were captured in campaigns by Jeroboam II (2 Kings 14:28) thanks to the Lord’s help. Israel, however, saw this as evidence of her own greatness.1
