What was the second woe?

Revelation 11:14 (ESV)

14 The second woe has passed; behold, the third woe is soon to come.

The second woe was descriptive of the plagues that followed the blowing of the sixth trumpet. Revelation 9:13–19 had explained the horrible consequence of the blowing of the sixth trumpet, including the hardness of heart described in Revelation 9:20–21.
