Revelation 13:1–4 introduces us to the creature John saw arising from the sea. Revelation 13:5–10 relates encouraging news concerning the limitations of the power this creature has. The paragraph ends in Revelation 13:10 with a promise that the saints (offspring of Revelation 12:17) will persevere in the faith.
