The fact that deception follows its signs demonstrates that this beast is in league with the devil, “the deceiver of the whole world” (Revelation 12:9). It also shows that fallen mankind is very gullible. These three, the dragon, the first beast, and the second beast, work intimately together to achieve their single goal of destroying the seed of the woman (Revelation 12:17).
