The opening of the first six seals takes the reader through to the end of chapter Revelation 6:1–17. Then there is an interlude with two visions in chapter Revelation 7 before the seventh seal is opened in Revelation 8:1 (at which point the book transitions to the seven trumpets). Thus, Revelation 6:1 – 8:1 forms one complete section of the book of Revelation.
