Does an army of locusts have a king?

Revelation 9:11 (ESV)

11 They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon.

No. Anyone who has observed locusts can know this (see Proverbs 30:27). But these locusts, of course, are not literal locusts, but demons. These demons have a king, namely, “the angel of the bottomless pit.” This angel gives instruction to this horde so that each demon knows what to do to torment people.
