Faith is also the conviction of what is not seen. It was difficult for Thomas to believe without seeing Jesus. When he believed when he saw Jesus, Jesus said, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” (John 20:28). Jesus speaks of the work of God in men. He convinces you through his promises, about an unseen world. Think of Noah: he was convinced that God would do what he said, although Noah did not see it at all at that moment. But that faith gave him obedience and endurance to build the ark (Hebrews 11:7).
