1 Corinthians 2:9 was an incomplete sentence, as it contained no main verb, only objects. Now in 1 Corinthians 2:10, Paul gives the verb: revealed.
God has revealed to the apostles what no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.
Paul goes on to explain the role of the Holy Spirit in the revelation of God’s wisdom. Because the Spirit knows God through and through, he can make God’s wisdom known to man.
10 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
