When Paul says that the Corinthians possess all things,
he quite literally means all things.
In Christ, believers are more than conquerors
(Romans 8:37; see also Romans 8:38–39, where a comparable list of believers’ possessions is given). To them belongs the world, life, death, the present, and the future.
The fact that Paul does not offer any explanation of this statement suggests that it forms part of teaching that he had personally imparted to the Corinthians, while he was in Corinth.
22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future all are yours,
