The unity in the instruction does not mean that there are no shifts. That is in part the result of interruption by third parties and of a deepening of what is being said by Jesus himself. In addition, however, there is also the fact that Mark summarizes a long discussion in a number of notes about its contents. We may expect from the reader that, considering the main line provided, he determine for himself how in this instruction there is a movement from one point to another.1
