1 Corinthians 10:19 (ESV)

19 What do I imply then? That food offered to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?

From the sacrificial meal of the Lord’s Supper, and the sacrificial meals of the Old Testament, Paul moves on to pagan sacrificial meals. First, he affirms the basic claim that has been emphasized by the Corinthians, namely, that an idol has no real existence (see 1 Corinthians 8:4). Consequently, there is no essential difference between meat that was sacrificed to idols and other meat.
