In the New Testament, eternal life is generally identified with the future hope of the resurrection (Matthew 19:29; Mark 10:30; Luke 18:30; Romans 2:7; Titus 1:2; Titus 3:7). This is the final act of salvation in contrast with the final judgment and condemnation of the unrighteous (Matthew 25:46; John 3:36; John 10:28; 1 John 3:15).
21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.
