A woman who is touched by and filled with the grace of the Lord will be admired and honoured. Her character, not her outward appearance, attracts the undying esteem of God and man (1 Peter 3:3–4). She, though being a weaker vessel (1 Peter 3:7), gains something that is infinitely more precious and enduring than what many graceless men, who use ruthless force, could ever hope to gain.
16 A gracious woman gets honor, and violent men get riches.
