In leading others to a lifestyle of Christian obedience, it is important to set an example of holy, righteous, and blameless living. This exhortation applies in the first place to pastors and elders—shepherds of the flock; but it is relevant to all believers since we are all called to adorn the gospel before a watching world (Titus 2:10). The spiritual well-being of our congregations, our children, our friends, and our colleagues is at stake!
10 You are witnesses, and God also, how holy and righteous and blameless was our conduct toward you believers.
