When one body part falls into dishonour, the whole body is shamed. Thus it is in the interest of the whole body that certain body parts should receive extra care. The same holds true in the church. God has wisely composed
the church in such a way that all members will ultimately be honoured.
Paul does not stop to explain what this looks like in practice. We can assume that it is connected to the way in which the Spirit has chosen to distribute gifts, or to the way in which different gifts are treated in the church.
