God’s faithfulness is a theme that has come up again and again in the book of Joshua. The Lord keeps his promises. He does what he says. We saw this in Joshua 1:1–18 with the promise that, under the leadership of Joshua, Israel would drive out the Canaanites, and now with Joshua, Joseph, and Eleazar being buried we have a final confirmation that the inheritance has been received and the Lord has kept his promise.
