Daniel 4:15 (ESV)

15 But leave the stump of its roots in the earth, bound with a band of iron and bronze, amid the tender grass of the field. Let him be wet with the dew of heaven. Let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth.

The tree will not be uprooted. The trunk has to remain and be protected. There will be dew that will cause life to remain in the roots. This tree will no longer stand out, but will be equal to the animals that live around that trunk. For further explanation see Daniel 4:23–26.
