It is striking that while Moses’ identity receives a descriptor (“the servant of God”), the Lamb is not further identified. This distinction underscores the difference between Moses as author (a “servant” drawing attention to God) and the Lamb as object of praise. Further, the Lamb has been identified earlier in Revelation 5:1–14.
3 And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations!
