The question is important because in the tabernacle of the Old Testament Levites had to carry the contents of such bowl to a clean place outside the camp for incineration (Leviticus 4:12). A similar instruction is not given here; in fact, we need to wait till Revelation 16:1 to find out what is to happen to the content of the bowls.
