This sport of faith fraternizes—as a congregation you form a team. You take each other on the way of Jesus and keep each other there. You help each other: it is close to your heart when you see that someone stops halfway or does not seem to make it to the finish line. Live in harmony (peace), stay in the right lane with each other with the same gaze towards Jesus; go together for a holy life, remove all contamination and pray for each other (see Hebrews 12:12–15; Hebrews 3:12–14; and Hebrews 13:20–21). Let everyone put Jesus at the centre and live faithfully to him. Consider what Paul writes about his approaching end: I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing
(2 Timothy 4:7–8).
