The events of Exodus 1 demonstrate the faithful character of our God to his covenant promises. In the face of satanic opposition, God continues to build a nation for himself as he had promised to the patriarchs (Genesis 15:5: Genesis 46:3–4). Even the might of ancient Egypt cannot stop him, the all-powerful and faithful God.
