22 As for the horn that was broken, in place of which four others arose, four kingdoms shall arise from his nation, but not with his power.

After Alexander dies, four important generals start to compete with each other for power. The empire then falls into four parts. These kingdoms define politics in a significant part of the world for about 150 years. In the beginning, they certainly do not have the power of the era of Alexander the Great. These things are now being told to us so that we pay closer attention to one of the powers that emerges from these four kingdoms.
