What does 2 Peter 3:14-18 reveal about what God does in and through me (the work of the Holy Spirit)? God the Holy Spirit helps me to make every effort to grow in godliness. He also helps me to understand God’s Word, though this understanding never comes without the hard work of study. Having grasped God’s truth about Christ, the Spirit also helps to guard me against error so that I will grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus.
14 Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace.
