Leaders are responsible for the souls of God’s people. They must give account for their leadership. If they have failed to warn God’s people of their sin, they will bear the guilt of the people, in addition to their own guilt (Ezekiel 3:18). At times, leaders are inclined to accept compromises, thinking that inferior
is better than nothing at all. But this is not true for God. Anything less than what God commands is evil! God demands uncompromised obedience! Compromising God’s demands is nothing less than evil.
