This woman’s commitment to her true purpose is not kept secret but flagrantly displayed; all who look at her can read from her face what she is about. It is worth noting too that all who worship the dragon and his beasts carry a mark of allegiance on their hand or their forehead (Revelation 13:16). Similarly, all whom the Lord has sealed as his own also carry a mark of allegiance to him on their foreheads (Revelation 14:1).
5 And on her forehead was written a name of mystery: “Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth’s abominations.”
