What does it mean that Moses was a “fine child”?

Exodus 2:2 (ESV)

2 The woman conceived and bore a son, and when she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him three months.

In Hebrew it reads: she saw that the child was beautiful, which is the same words that God said about creation (Genesis 1:1–31). Maybe it means that the baby was physically beautiful. But more important is that he was beautiful in God’s eyes (see Acts 7:20, beautiful in God’s sight). God sees the child and has a special plan with him. He is good, suitable for God’s plan. The parents knew this was a special child (see also Hebrews 11:23).
