What is wrong with having wisdom, might, and riches?
Jeremiah 9:23–24 (ESV)
23Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches,
Nothing. Wisdom, might, and riches are not bad in themselves. It only becomes a problem when people start to boast of or rely on it—when they trust in those things more than in God. Then things go wrong.
