Genesis 4:8 (ESV)

8 Cain spoke to Abel his brother. And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him.

Be fearful of (the beginning of) all sin, in yourself and others (Psalm 1:1–6). Sin enslaves you (John 8:34). You cannot get rid of it and then things go from bad to worse. The weak man, who is invincible because he trusts in his God, always provokes irritation in the self-assured man who cannot bring him down. That is why he is still being persecuted worldwide and, if possible, eliminated. The Abels of this world often lose out, but afterwards celebrate eternally the feast of their God and Saviour.
