What comfort is attached to the words “never to be found again”?

Revelation 18:14 (ESV)

14 “The fruit for which your soul longed has gone from you, and all your delicacies and your splendors are lost to you, never to be found again!”

With the fall of the civilization, city, or state that entices people to find their well being in created things, these delicacies are forever lost to those who embraced the ideology of Babylon. For John’s readers, the lesson of Babylon’s fall is that its advertised goal (she is a prostitute, and advertises satisfaction now) is a mirage. True happiness and satisfaction ultimately lie only in God the Creator through his Son Jesus Christ, King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14).
