Verse 4 introduces three kinds of loyalty offerings. These offerings are divided according to how the fine flour is cooked. In an oven (Leviticus 2:4), a griddle (Leviticus 2:5), and a pan (Leviticus 2:5). This is followed by a prescription of what is common to all three (Leviticus 2:8–10). The cooked grain offerings, like the uncooked grain offering were to be made from fine flour (see Leviticus 2:1–3).
4 “When you bring a grain offering baked in the oven as an offering, it shall be unleavened loaves of fine flour mixed with oil or unleavened wafers smeared with oil.
