(Isaiah 53:2–3). This is much different from the Pharisees who were admired by the people for their piety.
He was cut out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people
(Isaiah 53:8). The curse of our fruitlessness was on him. In that way he made us free from the curse to bless us (Galatians 3:13–14). And when he blesses us, he makes our life fruitful.
