Song of Solomon 4:2 (ESV)

2 Your teeth are like a flock of shorn ewes that have come up from the washing, all of which bear twins, and not one among them has lost its young.

People today are often even more surprised when the woman’s teeth are compared to a flock of sheep. Note that these are shorn ewes and lambs. Each sheep is white. When you see them walking, you see a beautiful white patch in the green field of grass where they are grazing. You see the white of the wife’s teeth so clearly because they are surrounded by her red lips. Her mouth is so good to him, so soft, so full of love. The mouth that only he kisses in a special way and that also kisses him in an exceptional way.
