22The priest from among Aaron’s sons, who is anointed to succeed him, shall offer it to the LORD as decreed forever. The whole of it shall be burned.
As noted in Leviticus 4:3–4, Aaron and his sons were anointed. Here, one of Aaron’s sons is commanded to offer a loyalty offering. These verses do not imply that he is or must be “the high priest.”
