In his first volume Luke described the beginning of Jesus’ work and teaching, and now in the book of Acts he will describe how Jesus continues to work and teach through the Holy Spirit in the ministry of the apostles and other believers. Even though Jesus’ earthly ministry may have come to an end with his ascension into heaven, he continues to be at work in this world. The apostles' teaching in Acts is this Jesus’ teaching.
