The guilt offering is literally called, “a holy of holies.” This description was used earlier to describe the grain offering (see Leviticus 2:3; Leviticus 6:17). As such, the priests cannot treat it in a common way or disregard the Lord’s instructions pertaining to it. This is repeated at the end of Leviticus 7:6.
