What is significant about the sin offering being most holy?
Leviticus 6:25 (ESV)
25“Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering. In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the LORD; it is most holy.
The sin offering is literally called “a holy of holies.” This description was earlier used for the grain offering (see Leviticus 2:3; Leviticus 6:17). As such, the sin offering belongs to the most exalted category of offerings in Israel.
25 “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering. In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the LORD; it is most holy.
