Leviticus 7:11 uses the same introductory formula as Leviticus 7:1. In this new section, the role of the priests in the various types of peace offerings is prescribed. Additionally, Leviticus 7:11–17 includes a number of details which are not found elsewhere in Leviticus about the purpose and conduct of the peace offering.
11 “And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings that one may offer to the LORD.
