Revelation of God the Holy Spirit

Acts 2:14–36 (ESV)

14 But Peter, standing with the eleven, lifted up his voice and addressed them: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give ear to my words.

What does Acts 2:14-36 reveal about what God does in and through me (the work of the Holy Spirit)? God the Holy Spirit comforts me and equips me for works of service. He helps me to confess Christ before the world and also to rightly understand the Scriptures. Through the words of Peter he has shown me that the Old Testament prophecies about the coming of the Spirit have been fulfilled and that the songs which are given to us in God’s Word (the Psalms) are songs which we can and must also sing today. Furthermore, he helps me to focus my attention on Jesus and what he has achieved.
